Privacy Policy

Abyssus Builds (“we”, “this site”) is a static, independent fan website. We aim to collect as little data as possible.

What we collect

• No accounts. There is no sign-up or login, and we do not ask for personal information.
• Build Creator sharing. A shareable loadout is encoded in the page URL fragment (the part after #) and processed in your browser. The fragment is not sent to Google Analytics or stored on our server.
• Build Creator local saves. Only when you choose “Save locally”, the Creator stores up to five recent loadouts in this browser’s storage. A newer save can push out the oldest entry. These loadouts are never uploaded; they remain on this device until replaced, your browser removes site storage, or you clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
• Hosting and security. Cloudflare receives technical request data, which may include your IP address, requested URL, user agent and security-event information, to deliver, cache and protect the site.

Cloudflare Web Analytics and RUM

Cloudflare may automatically add its cookieless Web Analytics / Real User Monitoring (RUM) beacon at the hosting layer. It can run whether or not you accept the separate, optional Google Analytics described below. The beacon measures page views, referral or landing paths, and performance information such as page-load timing and Core Web Vitals, then sends those measurements to Cloudflare through /cdn-cgi/rum.

Cloudflare states that this beacon does not use cookies or access browser storage and does not track individual visitors across customer sites. Cloudflare receives a source IP address as part of normal request handling, but states that it discards that address at the nearest data center rather than storing it in RUM’s core databases or logs. Optional Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 only after you choose “Accept analytics”. It helps us understand which guides are useful and whether visitors successfully move from a tier list or weapon guide into the Build Creator. The site works fully if you reject analytics.

When enabled, Google Analytics may process page views, interaction events, referral source, approximate country, and browser/device information. Our custom events use coarse game data such as weapon name, entry page, selection counts and share method. Page and referrer URLs are reduced to their origin and path before they reach Google; query strings and fragments are removed. We do not send full Build Creator URLs, build hashes, account details, email addresses or other directly identifying information.

Cookies and your choice

Google Analytics may set first-party _ga and related _ga_* cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. These cookies can last for up to two years unless you remove them sooner. Advertising storage, Google Signals and ad personalisation are disabled on this site.

Your Google Analytics choice, its policy version and the time you made it are stored locally in your browser. We ask again after about six months or when this policy’s consent version changes. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out and keep Google Analytics disabled while the signal is active.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Rejecting Google Analytics stops future events from this site and removes Google Analytics cookies that this site can access. It does not delete information that Google has already processed.
