Disc Thrower S
Ricochets scale with both room geometry and repeated contacts, giving the weapon a rare mix of pack clear and boss potential. It stays below “automatic” top-tier because open arenas and poor routes lower its consistency.
All nine Abyssus weapons ranked for a practical high-Depth run: mixed-room clear, isolated-boss damage, safety, and the quality of upgrades needed to make the core loop work. Click any weapon for its full recommended build.
Placements assume the roster is unlocked, the run offers reasonable rather than perfect upgrades, and the weapon must handle both rooms and bosses. This is an editorial decision guide, not an official balance table or a controlled DPS test. A lower tier can still be the correct pick for your aim, teammates, or current rolls.

Ricochets scale with both room geometry and repeated contacts, giving the weapon a rare mix of pack clear and boss potential. It stays below “automatic” top-tier because open arenas and poor routes lower its consistency.
Forgiving chains, movement-friendly aiming, and repeated status triggers make Tesla the most consistent general recommendation. Isolated bosses are the main reason it still needs a supporting ability or charm.
Large controlled explosions erase dense rooms, but self-damage risk and weaker isolated-target output demand a deliberate boss patch.
Accurate weakpoint shots produce elite and boss burst few weapons match. The rating assumes the player can aim and has assigned another loadout slot to add waves.
Charged precision and Smart Arrow give the bow answers to both target types. Draw timing and aim make that versatility less automatic than the S-tier choices.
The goo-and-stab loop plus summons has a high ceiling, but unfamiliar inputs and close commitment make results less consistent between players.
Point-blank burst is immediately useful, yet expanding boss attacks and crowded high-Depth arenas punish a build that spends its escape too early.
Combo cash-outs and pierce reward planned lines, while the reload and missed-shot cost reduce room-to-room consistency. It is viable, but more specialised than the A-tier hybrids.
Steady automatic fire makes the starter usable and supports repeated-hit Aspects. It lacks the defining payoff that lets the rest of the roster scale with fewer upgrades.
