Abyssus Windburst Aspect
What the Windburst Aspect does
Windburst is compact explosive room clear: higher-impact local bursts in exchange for less natural reach than Chain Lightning.
Chance to trigger Windburst — an explosion that hits everything in range (more damage than Chain Lightning, shorter default range).
- Pick it when
- Pick it when enemies bunch inside a predictable area and the weapon can trigger repeated explosions.
- Think twice when
- Widely separated enemies or a single boss reduce the value of the local blast.
Best Windburst Blessings

Whirling Winds
Supports the repeat-burst identity.
Culling Winds
Helps finish a damaged pack.
Eye of the Storm
Rewards controlling the centre of the fight.
How to build around Windburst
- Group targets before triggering the burst.
- Add frequency or area only when the base explosion misses relevant enemies.
- Reserve another slot for isolated targets.

All Windburst Blessings
Your primary weapon, secondary weapon, and ability each establish an Aspect slot. The third Blessing from one Aspect unlocks its Minor threshold and the sixth its Major threshold. Upgrade Kits and Upgrade Altars can improve eligible Blessings; check the in-game Logbook for the exact value on your current patch.
