Abyssus Soul Fragment Guide
Find Soul Fragment sources, one-time challenge rewards, Spiritual’s effect and the trade-off between permanent Soul Wheel upgrades and expedition rerolls.
Repeatable sources
Elites and bosses drop Soul Fragments. Chests can contain them too. Pick a difficulty and route you can finish consistently; failed high-difficulty attempts are not automatically better farming.
Spiritual
The Spiritual Charm doubles the Soul Fragments you gain. Equip it when you can survive without a combat Charm; keep a combat alternative if taking Spiritual makes you miss the next boss reward.
Permanent spending
Spend fragments on Soul Wheel nodes in the Lobby. Early system unlocks such as Ancient Forge change what a run can offer, while recovery nodes help you reach later rewards.
Reroll spending
Picky Worship II permits paid rerolls. They compete with permanent progression. Update 1.1 made the reroll price increase to a cap of 4 fragments; do not budget around old flat-cost guides.
One-time challenge rewards
Use unfinished challenges as an additional source, not as a repeatable farming route.

A practical farming loop
- Choose the weapon you can clear with reliably, then set a manageable Deep Water level.
- Equip Spiritual if it preserves that reliability; collect boss drops and open affordable chests.
- Spend the next permanent upgrade on the reason your previous runs ended. Keep a small reroll budget only after the essential node is funded.
There is no verified fragments-per-hour benchmark here. Compare your own completed attempts before raising difficulty or adding a riskier route.
